Amazing Troy Fernandez, With a voice as sweet as his ukulele picking, multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award winner Troy Fernandez became highly acclaimed as a solo artist after establishing himself among the ranks of Hawaii´s top entertainers for his work in the Ka´au Crater Boys. Troy has continued to innovate and electrify his fans with his solo releases after "The Boys" split up.
Troy´s light and bright signature ukulele style sparkle on these Hawaiian pearls: "Koke´e," " Waialae," and Pua Hone." His love for island living shines through on local favorites, "Ku´u Home O Kahulu´u" and "Haole Hula.".
Troy will remind us of Ka´au Crater Boys flavor by sharing so many of those Island contemporary songs we remember and love so much. Hula dancers are encouraged to come and participate when he plays and sings many of the traditional songs you will want to dance to.

The San Jose Ukulele Club is hosting a Beatle uke jam! We'll play ukes from 1-3, from 3-4 we'll have entertainment from "Nigel & Clive and the British Invasion", a fun (not too serious) Beatle tribute band, then resume uke playing from 4-5 p.m. No song books required (we project the song sheets). Just bring your uke and kazoo (no other instruments please). Park on the streets, no need to feed the meters because they are turned off on Sundays. Doors open at 12:15.
