Windchime-Fortune Cookie
While working on a job in Boulder Creek, California, I would pass a group of wind chimes several times during the day, and everytime I did so, I would speak in a quiet, new-agey voice saying almost anything that came to mind.
Then, at some point I noticed the fortunes from fortunes cookies I had been saving in my wallet would be the perfect message to deliver in this, my newest recording.
Won't you sit back with a nice cup of herbal tea and let Rhani relax you with his words?

Whiskers on Roses
Imagine Peter, Paul, and Mary singing a pretty version of "My Favorite Things" but with all the words in the wrong order.
Listen as Beneath Broadway messes with yet another show tune!

Shilver Bells
I recorded this version of Silver Bells as a bonus download! It is the same version as on the CD, except the lead vocal is replaced with this "shilvery" version. Enjoy and tell your friends!

David Gans Plays Grandma on KPFA - short version
This is recorded off the net 12-22-2004. It is the ending of David Gan's "Dead to the World" show on KPFA 94.1 in Berkeley, CA. For this shorter version, I have cut most of the actual song, so you can hear the great introduction he gave me.
If you want to hear the full version of the song, go to iTunes or any of the other digital distribution sites and pay only 99¢!

The Sauna Song
Completely unrelated to Christmas, here is a little ditty I wrote.
Have you ever been in a sauna and heard some folks singing a very sacred, earthsong that speaks of the earth? Well, no disrespect at all, but I thought that sometime it would be fun to change the words a little.
How about:
Shiver me timbers,
Rock a my soul
Have a Bloody Mary
and light another bowl
oh, that's what I'm gonna do.
(repeat)

KEEP SANTA CRUZ WEIRD - THE VIDEO
On October 29th, 2005, I performed with the group "Beneath Broadway" at the Keep Santa Cruz Weird show at the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz.
This streaming video clip is of our performance. Unfortunately, in this viedo, you cannot see Bono, who plays accordion, and Bob Burnett, who is playing guitar. That being said, I am on the left in the top hat, Rick McKee is on the right, and Katie McKee is in the middle with the tutu around her head.
Enjoy!

THE BALLAD OF MICHAEL AND CAROLYN -
AT THE SANTA CRUZ UKE CLUB - THE VIDEO
It was Thursday, March 16th at the Santa Cruz Ukulele Club meeting.
I performed my fist ever Open Mike, and my first ever Ukulele number.
The song: The Ballad of Michael and Carolyn... okay, it was the theme from "The Brady Bunch" sung and played in a minor key!
Enjoy!

I Enjoy Being A Girl - Video
Beneath Broadway played for the "Buxter Jake's Quality Assortment" Variety Show in Santa Cruz on Friday, May 12th, 2006. This video clip is the song I sung lead to part of. Can you tell me which classic rock song we merged with?

This is the number of times I've had to listen to rude people talking during a concert!
